Fat footballers
Probably done to death, who cares.

Neil SHIPPERLEY
Neville SOUTHALL
Ian MARSHALL
Kevin PRESSMAN
Neil RUDDOCK
John HARTSON
Benni MCCARTHY

Can't really knock together a fat XI as far too many throughout the years are goalkeepers and central defenders.

This is related to West Ham because 3 of these played for us.

As a young lad Ernie Gregory seemed on the fatish side, especially compared to today’s keepers.

The next player, some years later, was a shirt stretcher called Brian Dear.

In recent memory I can only recall that joke figure we all knew as Neil Buttock.

Staying at the old West Ham Hotel watched part of a charity match on the pitch Southall was in between the sticks for one of the teams the goal was just about wide enough for him.
